These terms apply when you use www.dogparentlife.com, take the Dog Parent quiz or buy one of our guides. By using the site or buying, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Dog Parent Life ("we", "us") is a small online business based in California, USA. You can reach us at hello@dogparentlife.com.

2. Our content is educational, not professional advice

Our quiz, emails, checklists and guides share general information about everyday dog care and training. They are not veterinary, medical or behavioral advice and do not replace a visit to your vet or a certified trainer or behaviorist.

Talk to your vet about any health concern, injury, sudden change in behavior, or before changing your dog's diet or exercise.
If your dog has bitten, shows aggression or is in distress, please get help from a qualified professional.
Every dog is different. We cannot promise any specific result, and you are responsible for your dog's safety and the safety of others while you practice.

3. The quiz

The Dog Parent quiz is a fun, general guide. Your owner type and score are based only on your answers and are not a professional assessment of you or your dog.

4. Buying a guide

Prices are shown in US dollars at checkout. Taxes may be added where they apply.
Each purchase is a one-time payment. There is no subscription.
Optional add-ons, such as the four-guide upgrade, are only charged if you tick the box at checkout.
Your guides are digital PDFs. You get the download links on the page after payment and by email. Please check your spam folder or email us if they do not arrive.
Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal through our checkout platform.

5. 30-day money-back guarantee

If a guide does not help, email hello@dogparentlife.com within 30 days of your purchase and we will refund you in full. No forms and no hard questions. Refunds go back to your original payment method; how long they take to appear depends on your bank or card provider.

6. How you can use our guides

When you buy a guide, you get a personal license to read it, print it and use the printables for your own dogs and household. Please do not resell, share, upload or copy our guides, checklists or other content for others, or use them in a commercial product, without our written permission. All content on this site, including text, images, logos and the quiz, belongs to Dog Parent Life or is used with permission.

7. Links and recommendations

We sometimes link to other websites and products we think are helpful. Some of these may be affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We are not responsible for other websites or their products, so please read their terms before buying.

8. Using the site fairly

Please do not misuse the site, try to break or overload it, access parts of it you are not meant to, or use it to send spam or anything unlawful.

9. No warranties

We work hard to keep our content accurate and useful, but the site and guides are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

10. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Dog Parent Life is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any harm that results from how you apply general information to your own dog. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. If a problem comes up, please email us first. Most things can be sorted out quickly.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the terms in place when you made a purchase apply to that purchase.
